Hostal 1511

Hostal 1511

The Hostal 1511, enjoys a splendid location in the colonial centre of Baracoa City, the first settlement founded in Cuba in 1511 by Diego Velázquez. This property is located nearby the most interesting sites in this part of town, such as the catholic church Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Baracoa, which houses the Cruz de Parra planted by Christopher Columbus in Cuba.

Despite its idyllic ambiance, Baracoa’s remote location, in the most eastern part of Cuba, has deferred the influx of mass tourism. Baracoa can be reached by bus or car from Santiago de Cuba through the famous La Farola road or by plane from Havana.
